Award-winning poetry publisher HappenStance sells its publications all over the world, and needed a site with both full ecommerce capability and a membership control component to run its 'HappenStance Subscriber' scheme.
We built the first HappenStance site back in 2005 and have continued to maintain and update it through many incarnations over the last decade. Today it is one of our busiest sites. A recent addition is the bi-monthly prize quiz, with entries taken via an online form and emailed automatically to the administrator.
Mother's Milk Books publishes high-quality, beautiful books for adults and children. Having previously run separate shop and blog sites, the client's requirement was for a single site that integrated these functions. We were able to provide a site incorporating both ecommerce and blog components, and additional features include a Twitter feed displaying the press's latest tweets on the home page and a countdown module promoting the press's annual competition, the Mother's Milk Writing Prize.
Catherine Chanter is a widely-published and award-winning author and poet, whose first full-length novel, The Well, was published in the UK on 5th March 2015 by Canongate, and in many other countries and languages during the course of the year.
The website was commissioned to support the launch of the book, and features an events calendar component and a slider displaying the covers of international editions.
Glebe Farmhouse is a 400-year-old, two-bedroomed converted cottage in beautiful North Devon. The property's owners needed to replace their old site with something that would work on mobile devices, and this new site is fully responsive and includes an image slideshow on every page.
Clear, simple design puts the site's compelling images front and centre, and updating of the tariff and availability page is simplified by the use of a dedicated holiday let component.
